| 'Policies and practices for sustainable development' feature in the citizenship curriculum for England. This paper, recently published on the citized website, provides guidance for trainee techers on introducing the topic to Yr9 (14 -15 year old) pupils. It relates sustainable development to the key concepts and processes of citizenship education and includes sample classroom, whole school, and community based activities.
